Pīpīwharauroa is a free-form Roimata carved from rare Tangiwai Pounamu sourced near Piopiotahi. The stone has aligned fibres that create a shimmering, chatoyant glow, with soft whites and very pale greens running through it. The form flows gently into a pointed base, symbolising release, healing, and compassion. A distinctive and meaningful taonga.

I carved the Pounamu myself, selecting pieces that capture the flower-like patterns unique to Marsden. A timeless pair with a clean and elegant profile.
