This sterling silver ring features a hand-carved Kawakawa Pounamu cabochon with a natural line running through it, adding a unique sense of movement and depth. This 55mm Roimata is carved from dark green Kawakawa Pounamu and finished with a traditional black Roimata lashing. Tumbled to create a natural organic form, the stone reveals striking dark inclusions and internal character when held to the light.
This 65mm Roimata is carved from deep green Bowenite Pounamu sourced from the Tasman region. In low light it appears dark and solid, but when held to the sun it becomes highly translucent, revealing the inner structure of the stone. The Roimata form represents emotion, reflection, and release, while the clarity within symbolises insight that comes from within. Finished with a clean black spiral lashing, it hangs naturally when worn.
Te Ao Mārama i Roto means “The World of Light Within.” The name reflects the remarkable way this kawakawa pounamu reveals its hidden beauty when held to the light. Although it is a substantial piece, it is incredibly translucent, unveiling swirling layers of deep and pale green within the stone. A natural white rind has been left around the base, creating a striking contrast and preserving part of the pounamu’s natural character. Measuring 70 mm long and suspended from a black cord, this hei toki represents strength, courage, determination, and the ability to shape your own path.

Te Ara me te Manawa brings together two taonga carved from the same remarkable piece of Whakatū pounamu. The hei toki represents strength, determination and the courage to shape your own path, while the roimata speaks of compassion, healing and emotional resilience. Together they symbolise walking through life with both strength and heart.
The pounamu is a striking pale green with dramatic dark brown dendritic inclusions and warm earthy tones flowing through the stone, creating a pattern that is completely unique. Both taonga measure 75 mm in length and are suspended on black cords, remaining forever connected through the stone they were carved from.
Carved by David Curtis, Te Ara Ora (The Path of Life) is a 55mm tuna porohita crafted from beautiful kawakawa pounamu. Intricately carved on both sides with pāua eyes, flowing koru-inspired fins, and a concealed suspension, it symbolises resilience, adaptability, and life’s continuous journey.

Te Ārai o te Mārama means The Shield of Light. This 70mm Tāngiwai kōuma is carved from beautiful Pounamu from Piopiotahi (Milford Sound), with striking natural patterning throughout. One side has a rich, deep green appearance, while the other glows with exceptional translucency when held to the light. Finished with a black five-hole ring bolt lashing and black cord, this taonga symbolises protection, resilience, and the strength to move confidently through life’s journey.
A modern, angular Hei Matau carved from deep green Kawakawa Pounamu. Strong lines, recessed bevels, and defined edges give this piece a grounded, purposeful presence. Bound with a black cord, it carries a sense of direction, strength, and deliberate movement.
Te Au Huri means “the turning current.” It speaks to movement, flow, and the natural cycles of growth and change in our lives. This 16mm oval cabochon is carved from Fuchsite, a shimmering green chromium-rich mica, and set with a sterling silver bail featuring spiral detailing. A silver spiral engraving on the back reinforces the meaning of steady movement and evolving strength.
