Te Waenga – The Spaces Between
This set was a privilege to work on and create. The design and significance that went into this piece was deep and meaningful. I called this set Te Waenga as it fully represents the deep significance of the space between people and a strong yet invisible connection can be nurtured here. This set represents this…
Gnarly Treble Clef
Creating this piece surely was a journey for myself. The original plan was to design something for a birthday based on this treble clef design by Marika Pounamu. This is what we ended up with. This piece was multi layered and truly 3 dimensional. You can see all the aspects to it in this video….
Whanau Toki
This is a design for a father that has a wonderful wahine to support him. So wonderful she wanted special and unique toki for him. This piece has him and his whanau carved into it in the form of koru.
Touch Stone
Here are two touch stones that I made. The guy wanted replicas of the grey stone below that he found on a beach. Pretty cool idea to get some in Pounamu.
Kiwi Koru
I can see a kiwi and a koru in this one, the kiwi was unintentional yet cool.

Sibling Set
This a beautiful set that was made for some very good friends of mine. They have a very lucky young boy and girl that will now have this pair of taonga pounamu to wear and connect them.
Kaha – Pounamu Pendant

Whai Matauranga
Sometimes you meet people that stand out from the rest. I find that pounamu is a way for me to acknowledge these people tautoko their whakairo and their mahi. That is what this taonga is created for. This is for a Mana Wahine and the inverted triangle represents this. The Harakeke carved into the surface…
