Description
This Pounamu Roimata is carved from beautiful Inanga Pounamu and measures 65mm long. The stone has a soft, pale green body with striking dark brown to near-black streaks running in from one side, giving it real depth and contrast. Those darker inclusions create a strong visual balance against the gentle, opaque Inanga colouring.
The Roimata form is traditionally associated with reflection, healing, and the release of emotion. It is a shape often worn close to the heart, representing both loss and renewal, and the strength that comes from carrying meaningful experiences forward.
This piece is wide and grounded at the base, measuring around 40mm across, then gently tapers up to a slim 5mm at the top. The rounded base and flowing curves give it a calm, settled presence, while the overall form feels protective and reassuring.
