Pounamu Golf Tee – Ear Spacer
This was a cool carving for an interesting reason.
A pounamu golf tee that could be worn in the ear. The guy this was for had worn a plastic tee in his ear for quite and while and this was the upgrade he was going to be gifted. How cool is that.
As this was a bit outside the normal for my carving the first attempt was not right. It was too top heavy and did not sit well in his ear. So I took it back and as you can see above thinned the top out heaps and this gave a better balance to the piece.
