Carved by David Curtis, this 60mm roimata is shaped from beautiful kawakawa pounamu with a rich, deep green colour that appears almost black against a dark background. When held to the light, however, the stone reveals a beautiful natural glow, bringing its hidden depth and translucency to life. Soft cloudy white inclusions gently break up the dark green, adding character without distracting from the simplicity of the design.
