Description
This 65mm Niho is carved from light grey Marutea Pakohe — a dense, fine-grained stone with soft white flecks that add subtle character and variation. This version leans into the natural curve of a tooth shape, giving it a more organic and flowing feel.
The Niho form represents strength, protection, and the ability to endure. This one takes on a slightly different character, with the curve symbolising adaptability and motion — like a wave, a current, or a journey that isn’t always straight. It still holds the same grounding energy, just with a little more movement.
Suspended with a four-hole ringbolt lashing in black cord, the pendant sits comfortably and securely, highlighting both the curve of the stone and the integrity of its shape.
A taonga of quiet determination and forward motion.
