Unicorn Horn – White Chinese Jade

I made this for my daughter who is currently 6 years old. She loves horses and unicorns. This piece is for her to know she will always be loved by me, that she is special and valued. She is important.

When I talked to her about what sort of pendant would best suit her, she decided a horse one would be best, not sure about wearing a horse around your neck, so I decided to go for a unicorn horn. Also a good chance to use a piece of white jade that I had been given too, the colour is perfect.

A couple of shots of the process from rough to finished. This is one of my favourite pieces so far, very pleased it will be my daughter wearing it.
