Serpentine Pounamu Hand Stone

$220.00

A veined Pounamu hand stone, 12cm wide, 5cm deep, and about 3.5cm at the thickest point. The polished face shows a lively mix of dark and light greens with hints of yellow, while the back retains its natural river skin. A grounding stone to hold, keep close, or display as a connection to the whenua.

Description

This serpentine Pounamu cobble has been shaped into a hand stone with one polished side and one left natural. Measuring 12cm wide, 5cm deep, and 3.5cm thick, it feels balanced in the hand and is just as striking on display.

The polished surface reveals flowing contrasts of dark and light greens, touched with soft yellow tones and streaked with veins that bring the stone to life. The reverse side has been left untouched, still carrying the raw outer skin of the cobble — a reminder of its journey from the awa and whenua.

As a touchstone, it offers grounding and calm, an anchor for reflection or meditation. It is also a one-of-a-kind piece of Pounamu to connect with daily, holding the energy and presence of Aotearoa.
