Silver Ring – The Woven Current

$300.00

This sterling silver ring features a hand-carved oval cabochon of dark green Kawakawa Pounamu, set within an organic, flowing band. The silver ripples gently around the finger, with soft waves and rounded bead-like details near the stone — as if shaped by water itself. The contrast of smooth Pounamu and textured silver captures the energy and movement of nature in balance.

Description

This ring brings together movement, texture, and life in a single form. A deep green oval cabochon of Kawakawa Pounamu rests within a sterling silver band that flows in soft waves around the finger. Near the stone, the surface gathers into small rounded beads, giving the impression of bubbles or river pebbles caught in motion.

The organic texture of the silver feels alive — like ripples across water or the grain of living bark — creating a sense of natural rhythm. The dark green Kawakawa Pounamu, known for its strength and healing energy, anchors the piece in balance and connection to the whenua.

This ring symbolises the flow of life — the constant movement between calm and current, earth and water, stillness and growth. Each one-of-a-kind mark in the silver tells its own story, just as every piece of Pounamu carries the stories of Aotearoa.
