Pipiwhirauroa Inganga Wedding Set

Pipiwhirauroa is a the Long tailed cuckoo. This pounmau is named for the liner bands that can form with the fibres of nephrite. They appear at chatoyant lines that can shimmer when they catch the light.

Inganga is the name for whitebait, and the pale green milky aspect of this pounamu is what it refers to. Inganga is a highly sought after type of pounamu that is not very common. This piece originally came from the Arahura.
