Carved from Tangiwai Pounamu, this 40mm Mārama (circle) has a tactile, silky texture and a luminous quality that shines when held to the light. At 10mm thick, it feels substantial in the hand or against the chest — with light passing through it despite its depth, showing the stone’s remarkable clarity.
The colouring is rich and varied: dark forest greens mingle with soft white inclusions and touches of orangey-tan that feel like light brushing the edge of shadow. The circle form speaks to balance, completeness, and the cycles of life — and here, the colours and light echo those meanings in their own way.
