Description
Carved from Pakohe, this 75mm Roimata has a broad, grounded shape with smooth curves and flat front and back faces. The form is light and easy to wear, resting comfortably against the chest — wide, rounded, and calm in its presence.
Roimata means ‘teardrop’ — a traditional form that carries meaning around healing, comfort, and emotional release. The smooth flow of the shape, paired with the stability of the flat sides, gives this piece a peaceful and balanced feeling.
The stone is a soft grey Pakohe with fine-grained texture, brought to a natural finish that allows its subtle detail to come through. It’s suspended by a black lashing through a simple hole at the top and comes on an adjustable cord.
A taonga for those in transition, in reflection, or in need of stillness.
