Mana Toki – Aotea Waterfall
$1,050.00
Carved by Paul Berry, this Mana Toki carries the flowing waterfall style he is known for, with concave curves up each face. Shaped from Aotea, it shows pale greens, whites, soft blues, and a darker mineral band through the centre. A blue ring-bolt lashing and a four-braid multicoloured cord complete the piece. The handmade toggle echoes the toki’s shape, giving the taonga a clean, unified finish.

Description
Carved by Paul Berry, this Mana Toki sits within his waterfall-inspired range, recognised for its smooth concave curves running up both sides. The 80mm form is shaped from Aotea, a rare taonga stone known for its mix of fuchsite greens, kyanite blues, and bright quartz whites. This piece shows all three, along with a darker central band that grounds the toki and gives it a strong visual spine.
At the top is a blue ring-bolt lashing that ties in with the natural blue tones in the stone. The cord is a four-braid multicoloured weave that adds subtle texture. One standout detail is the toggle, carved in a style that mirrors the toki’s own curves. This creates a visual link between the cord and the stone, giving the whole piece a sense of unity and intention.
