Description

This Toki is a refined and narrow form, measuring 65mm long and around 25mm wide, closer in proportion to a chisel or file than a broad adze. It is carved from bright forest green Pounamu, with subtle feathering patterns running through the stone that give it movement and depth as the light shifts. The curves are clean and balanced, giving the piece a strong but elegant presence when worn.

Traditionally, the Toki represents strength, determination, and the ability to shape the world through skill and effort. It speaks to work done with purpose, learning through doing, and carrying knowledge forward. In this slim form, that meaning is sharpened further, emphasising precision, focus, and quiet confidence rather than brute force. This is a Toki for someone who values steady progress, craft, and the discipline of practice.

Each piece of Pounamu carries its own character, and this one feels purposeful and composed. It sits well on the chest and wears lightly, making it an everyday taonga that still holds depth and intention.
