Description
This freeform taonga is made from a beautifully tumbled piece of Flower Jade Pounamu, shaped by the stone itself rather than a strict design. Across the base is a striking band of orange and pale yellow flower patterning, rising into a highly translucent apple green body that glows when held to the light. The form loosely references a roimata, but remains intentionally irregular, with a flat back and a naturally sculpted, textured front. Measuring approximately 40mm by 30mm, it is suspended on a simple drilled hole with a black cord, allowing the stone to remain the focus. This is a one-off piece that celebrates natural form, movement, and the unique character of Flower Jade.
