Description
Carved into a flowing rau (leaf) form, this 85mm taonga has a long, symmetrical shape with a gentle taper to both ends. One side curves slightly inward, the other outward, creating a subtle natural movement through the form. Itâs about 4mm at the thickest point, allowing light to pass through the edges â where a stunning emerald green glow is revealed.
The surface features deep green Pounamu with speckles and mottling of lighter tones, bringing texture and depth. The stone is thin and lightweight, but long and striking â a taonga that moves gently with the wearer.
Suspended from a three-hole ringbolt lashing in black, this piece is refined and balanced. The rau form symbolises growth, connection to the natural world, and new life â and this pendant feels like it holds all of that and more.
